About fifty books of fiction, strictly second-hand, appeared today on the desks of the classrooms of Palazzo Nuovo and on the surrounding walls. All accompanied by a post-it that invited them to take them for free. It is the gift that the Goliardi del Toson d’Oro, the city’s university brotherhood, wanted to give to their colleagues. Who seem to have appreciated it, given that within an hour the works have all found a new owner.
“We want to remember that culture can and must be a fixed point, as an indispensable weapon for understanding the world but also a useful tool for escaping reality” explains Fabrizio, “Princeps” and representative of the Order. Which concludes: «Our spirit as Goliardi is the search for fun, but with culture and intelligence».
