ROME – Just four months after the first announcement, the new Bugatti or rather the new Bugatti Rimac company was born with headquarters in Sveta Nedelja, in the Zagreb region, of which the Croatian Group holds 55% of the shares, and Porsche the remaining 45% . Mate Rimac, founder and CEO of Rimac Automobili, is now CEO of Bugatti Rimac, while Oliver Blume, president of Porsche AG and Lutz Meschke, vice president and CFO are board members of the new company.
Stephan Winkelmann, who was president of Bugatti since 1 January 2018, will focus exclusively on his work as president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

The management of Bugatti, which will continue to operate from the historic headquarters in Molsheim, has been entrusted to the new president Christophe Piochon, previously Bugatti’s CEO for production and logistics. Piochon will join Mate Rimac on the management team of the Bugatti Rimac mixed company, as chief operating officer. Hendrik Malinowski, formerly head of sales and operations at Bugatti Automobiles has been appointed to the company’s board of directors as managing director responsible for sales and marketing of the Bugatti brand. Larissa Fleischer becomes the new chief financial officer of the Bugatti Rimac joint venture.
To take up his new position, he leaves Porsche AG, where he held the role of director of control for digitization and development of new business models.
Finally, Emilio Scervo – who previously held a similar position at McLaren and Rimac Automobili – is the new chief technology officer of Bugatti Rimac.
