California is the bestseller of used Ferraris

ROMA – While waiting to hear what the “roar” of the first fully electric red from Maranello will be like, the analysts of autouncle.it, an online portal for independent price comparison and car valuations of all makes and models, have compiled a ranking of the Ferraris most sold in the last two months on the second-hand market. In the first place of this particular ranking we find the Ferrari California (which since 2012 was called California 30), the first model in the range of the Modenese house to adopt a coupé-cabrio body, with a detachable and foldable metal hood. In second place among the red “bestsellers” is a two-seater berlinetta with exciting lines, the Ferrari 488 which is the newest and most expensive in the standings and represents an evolution of the 458 Italia (of which it incorporates some details) and is longer than a couple of centimeters. At the end of the podium, in third place, there is the Ferrari F430, a sports berlinetta in production from 2004 to 2009, which replaced the 360 Modena and benefited from various innovations borrowed from Formula 1, such as the E-Diff differential. Then we find the Ferrari 360, considered the cheapest “recent” prancing horse car: when used, it can also be found for less than one hundred thousand euros and is also the “oldest” of the top ten, with an average age of twenty years. Scrolling through the ranking, the F430, from the previous third place, was then replaced by the Ferrari 458, fifth classified, produced from 2009 to 2015 in four models: Italia, Spider, Speciale and Speciale A. Compared to the previous one, the 458 has emissions and lower consumption, despite having a larger displacement as well as power.

On the sixth step is the Ferrari Portofino, heir to the California T, as well as a splendid convertible coupé in a 2 + 2 configuration with an aluminum roof that automatically folds into the rear hood in 14 seconds. Seventh position for the Ferrari 812 Superfast, the most powerful production red of all time, but also a GT to enjoy every day thanks to the modularity of its 799 horsepower. The refined design of the bodywork is also functional to aerodynamics and to the management of intake air flows. In eighth place we find the Ferrari F12berlinetta, which remained in production for six years, from 2012 to 2017, the first model of the new generation of berlinettas with a 12-cylinder engine, which at the time of its launch was defined as the most powerful and performing Ferrari ever. At the bottom of the ranking, the penultimate place is occupied by the Ferrari F8 Tributo which, like the 812, the two-seater GT exceeds the average price of three hundred thousand euros and offers a central 721 horsepower twin-turbo V8 and rear-wheel drive capable of guaranteeing sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 340 km / h. The tenth and last position of the top ten is the prerogative of the Ferrari FF with 4 seats and 4 wheel drive, built from 2011 to 2016. It is the first production car of the Modenese house to offer an intelligent all-wheel drive system (tested on the 408 4WD in the second half of the eighties), in which another novelty stands out in terms of design, namely the shooting-brake bodywork, thus deprived of the concave sides inspired by the fifties sports of the 612 Scaglietti, of which the FF collects the inheritance.
