ROMA – The type of camper and caravan that we explore in the second episode of our guide is that relating to the recreational vehicle defined as semi-integrated or low profile. To characterize these models is the ability to accommodate, with a limited size (the lengths vary between 5.5 and 8 meters), families of four people or two pairs of close friends.
The spaces available, especially in the shorter models, are not very large but are still well defined, with the fully equipped kitchen area, the dinette or living room, the bathroom with shower, and the sleeping area. The practical solution of the fold-down bed, that is, which descends from the top above the dining table, allows you to save space and have a comfortable double bed available when there are four people on board. In models with the garage located in the rear, generally under the sleeping area, it is possible to store sports equipment, bicycles or tables and chairs to be used when camping in the open air. Ultimately, the semi-integrated represent a good solution for couples who want to have more space available than a simple van or van, or for families that are not too large and willing to compromise.

Going up a little in price we find, for example, the Roller Team Kronos 267 TL, prepared on a Ford Transit 350 base, 7.45 meters long and 2.95 meters high, for sale at 55,390 euros, and the Sun Living S 75 SC, built on a Citroen Jumper 35 base, with dimensions of 7.45 meters in length and 2.87 in height, with a price list of 58,500 euros. Finally, for those who do not mind expenses and are looking for a more refined and equipped model, there is the Eura Mobil Contura 766 EF, set up on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 417 base, 7.84 meters long and 2.92 meters high, for sale at 128,000 euros.
