ROME – With the aim of simplifying the relationship between users and the world of vehicle repair, the CercaOfficina.it digital platform was born. To strengthen knowledge of this sector, the Observatory has just been launched which will focus its attention on studies and research capable of proving to be useful to users in some way. The first study by the experts proposes a focus on the female world since, according to the research, it emerged that women, compared to men, show a greater distrust towards the world of car repairs. In fact, 36% of the target women interviewed, between 18 and 65 years old, declare that they do not know which workshop to trust, compared to 13% of men.
The analysis highlights how women feel unprepared for the maintenance and care of their cars, so much so that 16% of women, compared to 7% of men, do not remember some important deadlines, such as when to do the servicing, overhauling or changing tires. CercaOfficina.it therefore, through the Observatory, in addition to data and research, will give life to projects and activities in favor of motorists and car repairers, with concrete initiatives and, precisely to meet the difficulties that women perceive in this sector, the first event will be dedicated to the pink world.
“The first initiative is dedicated to women who represent a significant universe for us – said Marco Brusamolino – ceo of CercaOfficina.it – Women give a very important value to the comparison and booking services of interventions through the platform. The research data show that 34% of the interviewees fear not receiving the right cost in the workshop, or have a feeling of distrust towards mechanics. A feeling that is however denied and resolved through the transparency of our platform, a value of primary importance for us. However, this will only be the first of the many events planned by our Observatory “.
To help women improve their relationship with cars and car repairers, the digital platform specialists have involved two women who know the world of car repair in depth and equally well know the difficulties that motorists have when confronted with the mechanics. On 6 April Laura Burni, who has been working for 10 years at “Burni & C” with thirty years of experience in the field of repair and assistance for new and used cars, will be interviewed. On April 13 you will be Alessandra Lucaroni, who runs the “Ormia” family workshop, specialized in Scania vehicles, in Fiano Romano, just outside Rome, known in the world as the “Officina delle Donne”.
