China Animation Golden Dragon Award presents a trend of deep cultivation of traditional culture

The animated film “Jiang Ziya” received a good harvest, and the creation of animation has become a trend of deep cultivation of traditional culture.
Excellent animation works that incorporate the pulse of the times and deeply cultivated traditional culture have become popular works of this year’s Golden Dragon Awards. Works such as “Guangling San” depicting celebrities in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, and “Seeing the Dragon in the Field” that pay tribute to Chinese farming culture won comic awards. Among the animation awards, there are “Five Elements in the Fog Mountain” based on “Shanhai Jing”, “Sou Shen Ji”, etc., and the adventure story “Dali Temple Log”. “Jiang Ziya” even won the “Best Animation Feature Film Award” Gold Award, “Best Animation Director Award” and “Best Animation Music Award” three awards.

Many works with positive themes have emerged in the award-winning works, and animation has become an important carrier for composing the Chinese spirit and Chinese stories. Such as “Heroes of the Sea” which praised the people who silently contributed to the birth of China’s first aircraft carrier, “A Hundred Years Illustrated Book” which depicts the centuries-old years of the founding of the party, and “Xunweifang Travel Notes” which presents the rapid changes in China’s agriculture and animal husbandry. The protagonist’s animated short film “Bingdun Dun to Celebrate the New Year” and so on.
This year’s Golden Dragon Awards and Bilibili jointly launched 8 awards, among which 6 works including the second part of “Chu Ge” and “Persimmon Tree” won the “Best Academy Comic Award” and “Best Academy Animation Award”.
This year’s Golden Dragon Awards also received excellent animation works from the United States, Britain, Germany and other countries. The animated film “Wolfwalker” won the Overseas Animation Award, and the Spanish comic “Love as First Seen” won the Overseas Comic Award.
On the same day, the Organizing Committee of the China International Comics Festival announced that the “Cai Zhizhong Comics Award” will be located in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. According to the organizing committee, the award focuses on the field of comic creation, and aims to excavate and praise excellent comic works that reflect the inheritance of human civilization and promote artistic innovation.
