Sustainability, internationalization and digitalization: these are the three words that mark the restart of made in Italy cosmetics, after the difficulties caused by the pandemic. For this year, turnover is expected to grow by 10.4% for a value of 11.7 billion driven by foreign demand which rises by 14% to 4.7 billion and by the domestic market which stands at 10.6 billion ( + 8.5%). The real recovery – on pre-crisis levels of 2019 – is expected for next year.

Nello Sole 24 Ore Beauty Special on newsstands next Thursday, 26 pages dedicated to in-depth analysis of the strategies of companies in the sector that have never stopped and focus on key issues for development such as exports and sustainability. And again, the most promising start-ups, trade fairs, industrial districts and the news in the showcase from perfumes to make-up to skincare.
