With over 3 thousand companies from 67 countries confirming their presence (+4% compared to 2023), expectations for the 55th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna in March 2024 are high: the exhibition areas are already sold-out and are in increase in online registrations of international operators.

58% of exhibitors come from Europe, 42% from non-European countries. The percentage of new exhibitors compared to 2023 is particularly significant, 35% of the total. Confirming the international appeal of the event is the participation of 30 national pavilions from Australia, Brazil, China, Korea, France, Germany, Japan, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Latvia, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Taiwan region, Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, USA. New compared to the 2023 edition is the presence of Estonia, Norway, the Pacific Islands, Palestine and Singapore.

The positive results in terms of exhibition offer also influence visitor registrations, from over 110 countries, and online sales of entrance tickets. For the 2024 edition, from September to today, the Cosmoprof site has recorded over 1.7 million views from around 217 countries. Compared to the last edition, an increase in traffic of 204% in terms of users and 32% in terms of registrations on the site was recorded, thanks also to the promotional campaigns activated in recent months on the main digital channels. The data on the official social profiles of the event is also constantly growing, which to date have a total of over 400 thousand followers.

The collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and with ICE – Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies will facilitate the participation of over 90 delegations with importers, distributors and retailers from all over the world. These results reflect the market’s confidence and optimism, as well as the positive approach to the new format of the event, with the coordinated opening of all pavilions on the same day, Thursday 21 March, to facilitate interaction between distribution channels.

Cosmopack and Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics will be open for 3 days and will close on Saturday 23 March. The pavilions dedicated to the professional channel of Cosmo Hair Nail & Beauty Salon will be open for 4 days and will close on Sunday 24 March. The decision to review the event dates is motivated by changes in the habits of operators in the sector. The opening of all pavilions on Thursday will facilitate contacts between companies and international operators through all distribution channels. A big change is the fact that the fair will be closed on Mondays, reflecting the transformations in the professional channel: Monday is in fact a working day for most professional salons. Salon owners and beauty center operators will finally have the opportunity to visit the fair on the days most dedicated to business, Thursday and Friday.
