Fashion and beauty are an essential union, as demonstrated by the numerous partnerships signed between fashion brands and cosmetics companies for the production and distribution of cosmetics, from perfumes to make-up. A way to complete the offer and bring the end customer closer with more accessible products than a designer dress or bag, but also the opportunity for beauty companies to grow in a segment, that of luxury cosmetics, which seems know no crisis.

And precisely during the Milan fashion week comes the announcement of the agreement between Coty and Etro to produce and distribute its fragrances and home fragrances until beyond 2040. A very long partnership that expands the portfolio of fashion brands, focus of Coty which two weeks ago signed a similar operation with Marni, as CEO Sue Nabi explains: «This agreement further underlines our attention on fashion licenses which have a high multi-category potential with great feedback from consumers in our key markets.”

Fabrizio Cardinali, CEO of Etro, adds: «This collaboration will strengthen our ability to meet and respond to constantly evolving customer demand, while also giving us the opportunity to enter new market segments».
