Over 100 thousand customers, more than 130 thousand products sold in one year and a growth in turnover of 1,500% in two years with revenues of 4 million euros: Eco Bio Boutique, an Italian start-up of skincare cosmetics, after opening in Spain is aiming for French and German markets.
Born as a small herbalist shop with two employees in the heart of Salerno, it has become a beauty tech that uses made in Italy, organic, 100% natural ingredients and eco-sustainable packaging in 2017, the year in which the brand was acquired and revolutionized by two young entrepreneurs, Simone Spizzichino and Giacomo Imperiolini.
Today the Eco Bio Boutique team includes about 35 workers divided into different departments including the laboratory where the products are studied and formulated, the marketing department, customer care, administration and legal, warehouse and logistics. In the last year, new figures have been hired and new collaborators have been added. The work environment is flexible, both in terms of time and contract, to meet the needs of each employee and collaborator. There are those who work on-site and those who prefer smart working, the important thing is to work towards objectives and always bring above-average results.
“There is always great space for young figures, who want to do and get involved, with the aim of training them and making them professionals in the sector – says Spizzichino, CEO of the brand -. By virtue of constant growth we are always looking for new figures. Right now: a junior copywriter and social media manager with knowledge of communication techniques and web content production, of the main social networks and passion for the beauty world and a junior customer care with excellent English and Spanish spoken and written and excellent skills communicative. Consolidation and growth in Spain and expansion into the German and French market are among the objectives of 2023. In the last year Eco Bio Boutique has opened a shop in Spain, with 20 thousand customers already active, the first step towards a process of internationalization. «Among our goals for the future – adds Spizzichino – we certainly want to continue to increase the quality of the products, constantly innovating and finding new natural solutions to all types of imperfections and making skin care accessible, of extreme quality and eco-sustainable. By 2023, the opening of pop-up stores in Italy and the launch of dedicated shops in Germany and France are planned ”.
