Known as the photographer of divas, Chiara Samugheo died today at the age of 86 in Bari, where she was born on March 25, 1935 as Chiara Paparella. Having arrived in Milan in 1953, Samugheo frequented the world of culture in the following years and became friends with Enzo Biagi, Alberto Moravia, Pier Paolo Pasolini and Giorgio Strehler. Initially he worked as a crime journalist, then as assistant to Federico Patellani, one of the most important photographers of those years.
