The stage play “A Generation of “Pride Yang” Yang Kaihui” tells the touching story of Yang Kaihui, a revolutionary female martyr from Hunan. Yang Kaihui was born in a family of intellectuals and received a good education since childhood. The new ideas of science and democracy made her a progressive “new woman”. Despite the dissuasion from all sides, she met and fell in love with Mao Zedong.
