The “Tree of Life” is a film space that connects reality and fiction

You can feel a strong sense of cinema from the moment you enter the museum through the time tunnel. The 23 giant red moons hang in an “S” shape. Hanging in the air, the images of ancient beasts and astronauts outlined by fluorescent lines accompany each other. Under the full moon are five exhibition halls made of containers. The light and dark are illuminated by film and television spotlights on the ceiling, making it difficult to distinguish between reality and reality.
In the public area in the middle of the pavilion, a “tree of life” surrounded by “volcanic lava” is full of magical colors. The “Tree of Life” is a large-scale art installation created by the artist Ma Defan. It is composed of discarded fabrics, plants and other materials, symbolizing endless life that has its meaning in any form.
Lantern array, quilted clothes, Chinese tradition supports historical heritage
In the traditional clothing and apparel exhibition hall, a number of exquisite embroidery pieces are displayed in the luminous acrylic panels. Each piece has a different shape, color, and pattern. These are all carefully created and precious collections of Ma Defan.
Adjacent to the traditional clothing and apparel hall is the lit lantern hall. Numerous strings of red lanterns are hung in the air, surrounded by smooth mirrors, falling into it as if entering a movie array, and the lighting arrangement uses a breathing effect, like a dream. In this sea of lanterns, along with familiar movie soundtracks, fragments of movies such as “Raise the Red Lantern”, “Farewell My Concubine”, “Ambush on Ten Sides”, and “Full of Golden Armor in the City” will continue to appear in my mind.
Red-haired ghost, space capsule, unknown exploration meets fantasy
Among the many exhibition halls, the one that sits firmly in the C position is the World of Appearance Pavilion, which is composed of three parts. The first part is on the first floor of the assassination hall. A red-haired ghost with green face, fangs, four arms and long claws guards the entrance. From here, you can see the creation process, character modeling and scene design of the entire movie “Assassination Novelist”, helping tourists to understand this The film has a deeper understanding.
