Ethos Profumerie – a joint-stock consortium company founded in Veneto with 301 points of sale throughout Italy, 119 company names and over 650 sales employees – closed 2021 with a sell-in turnover of 144.4 million euros, an increase of 15% compared to 2020 and a sell out up by 28.40% (+ 16% compared to 2019).

A positive sign also as regards the performance of the various product segments: make-up in fact rose by 25.5%, perfumery by 33.4% and skincare treatments by 29%; the latter also grew compared to 2019, respectively by 24.3% and 20.4%. Strategic for the company was the launch of e-commerce, the new platform based on digitization and targeted services, an online reference point for customers.

«I am extremely satisfied with these two days – said Mara Zanotto, general manager of Ethos Profumerie at the end of the annual shareholders’ meeting -. We have consolidated an ethical working methodology based on fairness and transparency and I can say with certainty that the courageous choices made in recent years have led us to great results “.

The next three years will be crucial for the total recovery of the business after the pandemic, as Maurizio Sabbioni, president of Ethos Profumerie explains: “We will work in synergy to achieve increasingly ambitious goals and I am confident that the new Board will be able to deal with the best of ways this challenge. The good of the consortium will always be the main engine that will guide our every choice ».

The strength of the group – the company specifies – are, in fact, the experience, credibility and competence of the shops: Ethos Profumerie is independent and not part of any international group. It is made up of historic perfumeries. “All the associates – they say – are very well rooted in the territory, distribute prestigious brands and can provide the customer with a solid professionalism based on the expertise of mature entrepreneurs”.
