Videos circulating on social media show the frosty scenes in La Esperanza, with fields and vehicles blanketed in ice. One resident, José Gómez, captured the icy conditions on his car, exclaiming, “This is dog.”

According to the forecast for Friday, La Esperanza is expected to remain at -1 degree Celsius, making it one of the coldest spots in the country. Other expected temperatures for various cities in Honduras include San Pedro Sula at 16 degrees, La Ceiba at 16 degrees, and Tegucigalpa at 10 degrees.
