This collection explores tent-like structures composed of fabrics and skeletons and applies them to clothing, creating a new three-dimensional shape created by drawing arcs on pleated fabrics. By rethinking and changing how fabrics are folded, stitched, and pleated, discover how garments cover the body for a lifelike, sculptural look.

Directed by Kyotaro Hayashi, the series of videos reveals undiscovered qualities and characteristics of clothing. With innovative ideas, he uses bold and creative shooting techniques from different spatial perspectives to slowly present each piece of ready-to-wear as a work of art. The beauty of the silhouette is conveyed by choreographing and pairing a variety of shooting scenes, including the way the models jump in the air.

ARC

This collection is inspired by tent shapes supported by curved tent poles. The large arcs drawn on the pleated material form the garment structure, and a soft three-dimensional sense emerges spontaneously. Tops feature a wraparound curved crease from the back to the cuffs, while a wraparound curve crease from the side to the inside is characteristic of trousers.

BOW

This series presents the bow bend naturally formed by the tarpaulin attached to the tent. Layer a layer of fabric over the body-fitting silhouette and bend it for a loose fit. Both the top and the trousers are accentuated by the three-dimensional shape seen from the side.

LANTERN

This print collection presents the hazy lantern light through the tent. The combination of patterns and colors is bold and warm, thanks to the delicate use of colored chalk to paint the light and shade.

FLIP COAT

Knitted from elastic weft yarn, this jacket features a soft texture and lightweight silhouette. The hem folds down to the shoulders and is secured with straps for a full, lightweight jacket.

FRAME COAT

A collection of quilted jackets with a tent structure in clothing. Gives a matte textured fabric a design inspired by tent skeleton construction. The silhouette of the garment can be changed by adjusting the adjuster on the hem.

A collection of vibrant monthly colors that tint with fall. The new jacket is inspired by tent fabrics that transform from flat to three-dimensional. The triangular look is created by folding the corners of a square fabric towards the center, and is characterized by a loose silhouette with no creases on the sides.
