If the Ferrari people teach us to park

ROME – The weekend in Rome, at the Parco da Vinci, will be dedicated to Ferrari and solidarity, next Saturday and Sunday. The large avenues of the commercial park on the outskirts of the capital will host the Ferrari Passione Rossa Club for the second time, the most important “Ferrari owners” association in the world, founded by the gentleman driver Fabio Barone who already has numerous Guinness World Records under his belt. The initiative was created to involve everyone, from adults to children, offering unique emotions and experiences that confirm the location as a place for socializing and meeting. The 2022 edition of the event foresees the involvement of the Filippide association which, in collaboration with the Olympic Roma Waterpolo company, presents the campaign “Leaving disabled parking spaces free is a sign of civilization”. Thus, in the two days of the event it will be possible to come across wheelchairs deliberately positioned in strategic places, with effective slogans, precisely to sensitize people to respect the difficult daily life of the disabled, too often forced to make impossible slalom between misplaced machines. On Saturday the program of the event foresees the departure from the Parco da Vinci of the Ferraris protagonists of a long parade that will take them to the center of Rome to return a few hours later and literally make themselves available to the public.

From 4 pm, the cars of the prancing horse will open their doors to all those who want to “touch them”, albeit with all the attention to the safety measures that the moment requires. For the bravest there will then be the opportunity to experience the thrill of speed with a ride aboard the most popular red in Italy. Exceptional sponsors of the event will be the actor and model Gabriel Garko, and the correspondent of “Striscia la Notizia”, Jimmy Ghione. On Sunday, on the other hand, in addition to the Ferrari ride, there is also the possibility for the public to become “mechanics for a day” for once, creating a real “pit stop” that the Passione Rossa Club makes available to fans. In the front row the boys of the Filippide association who, basing its mission on sport as an element of inclusion, could only choose the multiple swimming champion Massimiliano Rosolino as the standard-bearer (for the occasion he will become a speaker to encourage the participants). In short, it will be a great event that will combine a strong message of solidarity in favor of the rights of people with disabilities to the love for the “reds” of Maranello.
