Conference on Beppe Fenoglio in Casale
Beppe Fenoglio, whose centenary of his birth occurs this year, will be at the center of a conference today from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm at the Balbo Institute entitled “In the footsteps of the partisan Johnny and other stories”, included in the cycle “R for Resistance”. Speakers will be the historian from Casale Sergio Favretto and the professor Fabrizio Meni who won the Acqui history 2021 award. The conference is part of the cycle of future connections that can be followed in person and at a distance.

Wednesday 6 April at the Alessandrino Theater, at 4.30 pm, the cast of the show “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” – next appointment of the drama season organized by the Municipality of Alessandria and the ‘Piemonte dal Vivo’ Foundation – will meet the public and the Alexandrian media. For theater and culture enthusiasts it will be a unique opportunity to get to know the actors up close and discover the details and curiosities of the Shakespearean play that will be staged at 9pm. A start with a bang for Blue Jazz, the Valenza Jazz Club Festival which will start on Saturday 2 April at 9.15 pm at the Teatro Sociale with the melodious voice of Karima, internationally recognized as one of the most powerful and significant on the Italian scene . He will stage «No Filter», the latest recording effort. It will be preceded at 4.30 pm at Palazzo Valentino by the conference on “the history of Jazz” by Guido Michelone.

Vivaldi season at the start
The Vivaldi season of national interest, organized by the Antonio Vivaldi Association and Musicomer Artistic Management of Mortara, will open with an inaugural concert on Saturday 2 April at 8.30 pm in the parish church of San Vincenzo, in Mirabello Monferrato. Performance of the Italian Chamber Orchestra “Antonio Vivaldi” conducted by Maestro Roberto Allegro. Before the concert, presentation of the volume: «Harmonies of nature and human passions».
