ITS was born in Vicenza to train managers of sustainable fashion

The first ITS in Italy, exclusively dedicated to sustainability in the fashion sector, starts in Vicenza and will form the figure of the “Fashion Sustainability Manager”; a profile highly sought after by companies in the supply chain, from textiles to fashion brands to accessory manufacturers.

The course lasts two years (2 thousand hours, between October and May, from Monday to Friday in the afternoon) and is aimed at a maximum of 25 students – whose selection will take place on Friday 24 September – who will alternate in classroom and company internships (400 hours per year). There are six training areas. They range from broad-spectrum knowledge (from technical English for fashion to PEST and socio-environmental risk analysis, for a total of 222 hours); to management for sustainability (274 hours); from the principles and methods for sustainability (264 hours) to the sustainability of materials (160 hours); from the sustainability of industrial processes in the supply chain (170 hours) to marketing and reporting (110 hours).

The various topics will be addressed through lectures, visits to companies and laboratories, workshops and seminars.
