According to an exclusive source from The Hollywood Reporter, the Japanese classic anime “Saint Seiya”, which was serialized by Masami Kada in 1985, confirmed the development of a live-action Hollywood movie, and the first wave of the cast lineup has been made public.
The Hollywood live-action film “Saint Seiya” will be produced by Toei Animation and Sony Pictures. The Japanese-American actor who has performed in “Pacific Rim: Uprising” and “Excalibur: The Final Chapter” will be the leading actor “Pegasus Seiya” (Seiya), Madison Iseman will star in Saori (Sienna), Sean Bean is the recruiter of the Knights and Seiya’s mentor Alman Kiddo; other actors include Famke Janssen, Nick Stahl, Diego Tinoco and Mark Dacascos Et al.
The film will be directed by Tomasz Baginski, director of “The Witcher”, and written by Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken of “10 Cloverfield Lane”, with a special trip to Hungary and Croatia for filming.
