On the 14th, his studio posted an obituary through the official website. Hanami has dubbed the well-known Japanese animation works “Inuyasha” and “Dragon Ball”.
After the news of the death of Yanami Chengji was released, many well-known voice actors in Japan uttered their condolences on social media. “Inuyasha” Kagome’s voice actor Yukino May said: “He is an excellent person. He is gentle and greets me every time I meet. I can’t accept this fact.” The voice actor Furukawa Toshio of “Dragon Ball” Piccolo also expressed grief: “I have been taken care of by him in many works and sincerely pray for him.”
Hanami was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1931. His representative is the king of the world in the “Dragon Ball” series, Papa Bulma, Tozai in “Inuyasha”, and Gan Fuer in “One Piece”. In 2015, Hanami announced that it would be closed for recuperation.
