The British director Matthew Vaughn, who directed the “Kingsman” series of films, officially announced this week that the distribution copyright of his new spy movie “Argylle” was officially obtained by Apple. The film is expected to be released exclusively on Apple TV+ in 2022.

The film story is based on the novel first novel of the same name by the emerging writer Ellie Conway, “Argylle”. Matthew Vaughn said: “Just after reading the first draft, I decided that it must be made into a movie. This definitely has the power to shake the espionage genre, and can even redefine what is meant by “espionage.”

Although the current film dealers and booksellers keep the content completely confidential, the casts announced today are enough to make people look forward to the whole year, including DC universe hero “Superman” Henry Cavill, “Breaking Bad” movie stars Bryan Cranston, John Cena, Bryce Dallas Howard and Samuel L. Jackson are among them, and British singer Dua Lipa will not only perform the film score and sing the theme song, but will also appear in the play as an actor for the first time.

The screenwriter of the film is directed by Jason Fuchs, the screenwriter of the Oscar-winning masterpiece “La La Land” and “Wonder Woman”. The novel has not yet been officially published, and it is expected to come out at the same time as the movie release in 2022. Readers please pay attention.
