LACOSTE Presents the 2024 Autumn/Winter Collection at Paris Fashion Week

LACOSTE Returns to Paris Fashion Week with 2024 Autumn/Winter Show

LACOSTE made a triumphant return to Paris Fashion Week with their 2024 autumn and winter fashion show, showcasing a stunning collection inspired by the French 1920s era, also known as the “Crazy Years”. Creative director Pelagia Kolotouros drew inspiration from the art-centric decade, injecting her own modern interpretation while paying homage to LACOSTE founder Mr. René.

The collection featured a fusion of tennis influences and traditional design elements, with a focus on new silhouette designs and fluid lines. The color palette ranged from sensual black to clay court auburn, sky blue, grass green, LACOSTE green, and pure white, creating a vibrant and subversive aesthetic. Iconic pieces included a hand-embroidered double-breasted coat featuring an enlarged yellow crocodile pattern, as well as suiting designs inspired by René’s early success in the United States.

Notable pieces in the collection included a pleated skirt inspired by tennis legend Suzanne Lenglen, a modern cable knit sweater belt, a loose bathrobe-style coat, and a crocodile-embossed bucket bag reminiscent of vintage travel bags. Global spokesperson Wang Yibo even made an appearance on the runway, showcasing LACOSTE’s latest designs.

Fans of the brand and fashion enthusiasts alike can view the full collection in the gallery above. LACOSTE’s 2024 autumn/winter show successfully brought together elements of French fashion, sports, and art, creating a unique and memorable showcase at Paris Fashion Week.
