ROME – A Honda Civic turns into Lamborghini Aventador for a supercar replica. The operation is the one in which a small Indian company called Dream Customs India has embarked, which has decided on a radical transformation of a Civic. The work lasted 25 days and was based on a complete aerodynamic body kit that tries to mimic the lines of the Aventador SVJ.
If in profile the car could deceive the less experienced eye thanks to the great care for the rims, for the side skirts, the fins positioned in front of the wheel arches and the large air intake behind the doors, at a closer look the headlights front and the windshield are very unconvincing. Unlike other replicas, the one from Dream Custom India also has a custom interior with a touchscreen on the tilted center console, a Lamborghini-branded steering wheel and a completely redesigned dashboard inspired by the supercar from Sant’Agata Bolognese.
Under the bodywork, on the other hand, are the chassis and transmission of a ‘normal’ eighth generation Honda Civic (2005-2012). This probably means the car is equipped with a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine coupled to a CVT gearbox. Nothing to do, of course, with the SVJ’s V12. It is not the first time that Dream Customs India has built an Aventador replica, because already a couple of months ago the same company had revealed an orange prototype based on a Honda Accord and a yellow one based on another Civic.
