Actress Laura Dern celebrated her 55th birthday today (February 10, local time), but that wasn’t the biggest Laura Dern news of the day. A new trailer for Jurassic World: Reign, released Thursday, shows her reprising her classic role as paleobotanist Ellie Satler, alongside Jurassic Park cast members Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum reunites.
Dunn’s return to the Jurassic Park universe appears to have sparked some interest in the final chapter of the Jurassic World trilogy.
Some things never change. Fans spotted similarities between Dunn’s outfit in the first Jurassic Park movie in 1993 and one of her looks in the new trailer.
Jurassic World: Domination is set to hit theaters on June 10.
Dunn’s last foray into dinosaur territory was in 2001’s Jurassic Park 3. In recent years, she has appeared in “Marriage Story,” the 2019 adaptation of “Little Women,” and the HBO miniseries “Big Little Lies.”
