Even if the sisters asked about Lebanon, they couldn’t get a response. They didn’t understand what their parents were going through until they watched the movie. “I quote them: ‘Thank you for making this movie. We were moved for the first time to understand why our parents didn’t want to talk about these things.'”
Moonnes mentioned several times in the interview that he had the obligation to make the film. He believes that the lives of people in war zones and non-war zones are very different.
