In previous performances, Tian Yumei, portrayed by Lei Jia, was delicate and moving, showing the firm belief and powerful strength of an ordinary Communist Party member who escaped from the execution ground, fought a traitor with wisdom, and died heroically. “Don’t hesitate, don’t sigh!” Lei Jia interprets a Communist Party member who is also a mother with a singing voice full of artistic appeal. When his life is about to come to an end, he earnestly entrusts his children and is grateful for his homeland. When Tian Yumei’s spirit was transformed into rhododendron flowers all over the mountains and plains, the power of faith accompanied by Lei Jia’s singing pushed the artistic power of the play to a climax, and no one was moved by it.
