Lyseo Gallery, the first camper with. .. the attic

by admin

ROMA – Latest news from the motorhome sector: Bürstner GmbH & Co KG presents Lyseo Gallery, a holiday jewel, equipped with a sunroof with the possibility of installing a second inflatable cabin. A camper with … the attic. This is a unique example at the moment, it is equipped with a retractable roof from the pneumatic drive which is lifted by compressed air. The result is exceptional, above all it is the first to adopt a second floor for the category, with living comfort and generous spaces.

The philosophy of Lyseo Gallery is: “Travel compact and live in style” and, if you look closely, its elegant aerodynamic silhouette and the interiors confirm this. Let’s see its characteristics together. As mentioned during the trip, the upper floor is closed and when stopped, the special attic is assembled in 90 seconds using compressed air and an air chamber technology designed ad hoc. Once the second floor is laid out, the vehicle reaches a height of 3.7 meters. The “mini attic” is not inclined like a traditional pop-up roof but is vertical and in this way you have a large room with a height of 110 cm equipped with an electrical station where you can recharge your smartphone, a table with a seat and an access ladder. To keep the air pressure in the chambers and that of the upper floor inflated there is a measurement sensor.

It took several years to obtain this specimen and a team that has been able to experiment through technology, the system for the UV-resistant and waterproof inflatable booth: it is unique in its kind and patented by Bürstner.

The interior of the camper is in perfect harmony with the concept of “as good as at home” that the manufacturer has been promoting for over thirty years. The materials for the furniture, the appliances, the finishes of each corner are studied in detail and made with raw materials of great value.

The atmosphere on board is in typical “Gentlemen-Style” where buffalo leather in cognac, Burlington stitching and the anthracite gray walls enhance and warm the environment. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances including an induction hob and a well-stocked corner bar.

Jens Kromer, Bu? Rstner management spokesman, explained: “Our Lyseo Gallery was developed entirely within Bu? Rstner in just 18 months, from the initial idea to the approved prototype. We achieved excellent results very quickly because the entire development phase was characterized by short processes and quick decisions. The development supported by 3D technology and the representation of the vehicle with virtual reality software made it possible to quickly make the right decisions. The virtual reality technology and the very close and efficient collaboration with the interior designers of our company have allowed us to save about four months on development compared to a “classic” one.

Regarding the engine parts and dimensions, it was only stated that it is based on the layout of the existing Lyseo TD 680: 6.89 m long, 2.30 m wide, 2.96 m high on the road, 4 seats.

The manufacturer has not communicated the price. It will go into production in early 2022.
