Marine Serre announced the official return of the 2022 Spring/Summer series this time. Before the official release of the series, Marine Serre released many trailers for the trilogy film “Ostal 24”, which laid the foundation for the new series. The film depicts a day in a country house, starting with outdoor yoga, taking the viewer through the house while cooking daily meals, making jewelry with old silverware, and baptizing with flour. Then the actors put on printed silk and danced in the house, and then went out to witness another baptism, but this baptism used cherry juice. Marine Serre himself also appeared in the short film, using a tea towel to make a dress.
The film provides a creative backstory for the series, because all the actors wear the series. Taking the Bjorkian “popcorn” top as inspiration from the 90s, it was redesigned into a wavy hem dress and multi-layer T-Shirt, with wide pants made of wool and cotton to show a variety of vivid colors. Over-dyed pink and purple vintage denim and T-Shirt were transformed into spliced dresses, high-waisted jeans and tank tops. This season, Marine Serre uses recycled silk and tannin as the basis.
