Maurizio Pollini alla Scala plays Fryderyk Chopin

by admin

The Italian gardens continue to be the favorite places for musical events in this part of summer. Here are the Gardens of the Roman Philharmonic Academy, a green and quiet corner in the heart of Rome, a stone’s throw from Piazza del Popolo and on the slopes of Villa Borghese. And those of the Villa Reale in Milan, main stage of the 10th edition of Piano City Milano. While the city is crossed by the sounds of many pianos, one of the greatest pianists, Maurizio Pollini, returns to La Scala, finally in the presence of the public. Even in Spoleto the music is outdoors, with traditional concerts in the Piazza del Duomo, on the opening weekend of the 64th Festival dei Due Mondi.
