Video to promote the Asti area. It is the initiative «Live me! Discover the emotions of the Lower Monferrato Astigiano “, a series of “micro-visits” guided to the beauties that are worth discovering. It is promoted byEcomuseum Lower Monferrato Astigiano with short videos posted on its Youtube channel to offer a taste of landscape, local history, art history and material culture. They are made by Cultural Horizons, by the tour guide Davide Cabodi with the collaboration of Luca Simoncello. The project is carried out with the patronage of the Province of Asti and the contribution of the Piedmont Region and the CRT Foundation, with the Piedmont Ecomuseum Network and the Ecomuseum Laboratory.

There is talk of architectural, artistic or naturalistic attractions in the area, with brief testimonies of the protagonists of the culture who live and work in the affected area.

There are three videos available so far.

A Piea it was filmed in the 12th century castle, transformed into a residence told by Silvia Tamietto, current owner, between anecdotes such as the presence of the mysterious ghost of the “White Lady” and the existence of an underground tunnel that connects it with that of Cortanze.

A Montechiaro we focus on the Romanesque Pieve dei Santi Nazario e Celso and the surrounding hills, with the story of Andrea Marello (musician, member of the ancient music group La Ghironda, which offers the soundtrack) and the mayor Paolo Luzi.

Third video a Castell’Alfero, with interventions by Andrea Rocco, art historian, curator of the Civic Museums of Palazzo Mazzetti in Asti, one of the last to be born at home in Castell’Alfero in the 60s, in love with his country, the mayor Elisa Amerio and of Monica Mangone, owner of the hotel “La Foresteria del Castello”.
