ROME – More than a car show, the Mimo (Milan Monza Motor Show) looks like an open-air walk in the center of Milan, between two and four-wheeled models, displayed on platforms that are the same for everyone, including world premieres, electrified visions, a debut brand, and zero-emission micro-mobility. A joy for motor enthusiasts and not only, along a path that starts from the Castello Sforzesco to get to Piazza Duomo and Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
Overall, the installations of over sixty houses will be exhibited, to which other important brands will be added again in the coming days (the complete list will be released on June 8, the date of the official presentation). Everything will take place in the name of safety in full compliance with anti Covid regulations thanks also to the “QR code” technology present on each platform, which will allow visitors to connect to the page dedicated to the model, with technical data sheets, images, videos, configurator and at the link to request a road test. Those who cannot be physically present at the Mimo, on the other hand, will still be able to experience the atmosphere of the event with the images and videos uploaded in real time on the official website and through live streaming also transmitted on social networks.
A meticulous organization, made possible by the collaboration with the Lombardy Region, with the municipalities of Milan and Monza, with Aci and Aci Milano, which also made it possible to set up, always in safety, the test drive area of electric and hybrid models for the public, in piazza Castello Sforzesco. However, for the public to access the focus electric cars, a pre-registration will be required, which can be done online on the milanomonza.com website.
“With the QR, visitors will be able to walk and learn about the models on the platform, limiting interactions with the brand staff to a minimum, and with live streaming we will be able to bring world previews and installations to the homes of all Italians – underlined Andrea Levy , president of Milano Monza Motor Show – The Mimo of 2021 and? result of the work with our partners: the goal was to create a situation in which the desire to restart an entire system matches the need to do it in total safety, in line with health provisions, and we are satisfied in having created a hybrid formula capable of satisfying both needs ”. Mimo will not miss even the dynamic part on the track, at the Monza racetrack: from the “Journalist Parade” to the “Supercar Night Parade”, both scheduled for Friday 11 June, to the fashion shows and activities on the track for collectors and clubs, with the classic car festival by Aci Storico, scheduled for Sunday 13.
