NASA’s moon team took to Twitter on Tuesday: “At only ~240,000 miles, our nearest neighbor impacts our lives on Earth. Here’s how we thank the moon for being stable in its orbit Several reasons (no offense @MoonfallFilm)”, and @MoonfallFilm’s official Twitter account.

The official “Moonfall” account shared a clip of a behind-the-scenes video in which the filmmakers spoke of NASA experts advising on the film. “Whatever you do, you want to do it as correctly as possible. Even if it’s an amazing movie,” Emmerich said in the segment.
