Netflix Announces Launch of Seventh Season of “Black Mirror” in 2025

Fans of the popular sci-fi unit drama “Black Mirror” can now mark their calendars for the official launch of the seventh season in 2025. Netflix made the announcement earlier this week, revealing that production for the highly-anticipated season began at the end of last year.

Original creator Charlie Brooker will return as the producer for the seventh season, joining forces with executive producers Jessica Rhoades and Annabel Jones. The upcoming season will feature six episodes, including a continuation of the fan-favorite episode from the fourth season, “USS Callister”.

In “USS Callister”, American actor Jesse Plemons portrays engineer Robert Daly, who creates a virtual reality adventure game on a space starship to seek revenge on his real-world colleagues who humiliated him. However, Daly’s tyranny is eventually challenged by one of the virtual characters in a thrilling showdown.

As of now, details about the upcoming season of “Black Mirror” are scarce, but fans can expect more updates in the near future. Stay tuned for further developments on what promises to be another mind-bending season of the hit series.
