New Allegations of Sexual Assault Against Former WWE Director Vince McMahon

New allegations of sexual assault have been revealed against Vince McMahon, the former WWE director who resigned from his position as CEO of TKO, the company created after the merger of the wrestling company and the UFC, after complaints from a former employee.

A new report has come to light in which McMahon is accused of inappropriate behavior and insinuations by the former director against Ashley Massaro, a WWE wrestler who committed suicide in 2019 due to her depression.

According to the Vice portal, unpublished statements by Massaro have been revealed describing abuses by McMahon and states that the WWE discouraged her from filing sexual assault complaints.

In the new accusations revealed, Massaro accuses McMahon of sexually taking advantage of other fighters and that, in her case, she was punished for rejecting advances with bad scripts to destroy her reputation, an activity that was common on the part of the former manager when he received a refusal.

Massaro committed suicide in 2019, eight months after filing a lawsuit dismissing his claims that a head injury sustained during his wrestling career caused him severe depression. Massaro had also denounced that on a charity tour of the WWE in 2007 in Kuwait for the US Armed Forces, she had been drugged and sexually assaulted by military personnel.

However, the WWE ignored the case after Massaro’s suicide, arguing that the fighter never told them about the attacks suffered by the army, otherwise they would have reported it.

“In any moment Vince McMahon or WWE management were informed by Ashley Massaro or anyone else that she had been sexually assaulted, drugged, raped or sodomized by a military doctor with a nurse standing guard during a 2007 goodwill tour at military bases in Kuwait”, reported the statement at the time.

“In fact, if he had ever expressed such a claim to WWE, we would have immediately reported it to the Base Commander. At no time was there a meeting with Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, John Laurinaitis or other executives of the company where she told them about such a claim and were ordered to keep it secret,” he added.
