Why was Patricia Bullrich’s foundation intervened?
The Government intervened in the foundation of the presidential candidate of Together for Change due to alleged irregularities.
As published in Página/12, the intervention was requested by the Inspector General of Justice (IGJ), Ricardo Nissen, that it had initiated an investigation process after a complaint for “irregularities” presented by deputy Rodolfo Tailhade, as revealed by Página/12.
From that complaint, the controlling body determined that, indeed, “from the IEES actions outside its corporate purpose were deployed and it was used for purposes other than those for which it was granted authorization to operate”, according to a statement from the portfolio headed by Martín Soria.
“Accounting and administrative irregularities were also detected: There was an exponential growth in the income and expenses of the IEES, going in a few months from not having funds to cover current expenses, to collecting more than 90 million pesos”, added the official information.
This is the foundation that Bullrich used to finance his campaign and that, however, it was registered for other purposes and functions.
