Premio Lo Nuestro 2024 had its fair share of unexpected moments, particularly for Christopher Uckermann and Christian Chávez of RBD, who were unable to attend the gala despite being nominated. The singers expressed their disappointment on social media after being turned away due to an error with their tickets. “The nominees could not enter the event because they did not have the appropriate tickets,” Uckermann said in a video. “We want to tell our fans worldwide that it hurts us a lot to have come to Miami, and apparently Premio Lo Nuestro didn’t have our places. It hurts us on behalf of RBD, but we are bigger than this.”

Meanwhile, Olga Tañón had a much better evening, receiving the Excellence Award and expressing gratitude for her nearly four-decade long career. Angela Aguilar also shared her joy for the night, expressing love and admiration for her father, Pepe Aguilar. Isadora Figueroa, daughter of Chayanne, expressed her love and admiration for her father as well.

On the other hand, Adamari Lopez, one of the presenters at the event, shared her happiness and excitement, confessing, “I have love for myself, love for my daughter and if someone comes along, they will complement that love that already exists in my heart.” Overall, Premio Lo Nuestro 2024 was a night of mixed emotions and unexpected turns.
