But in general, sales to individuals grew by 13 points compared to the same period of 2021, with an improvement in registrations in the more profitable C segment (sedans, etc., etc.).
Sales increased by 12% with over 95 thousand units, of which 40 thousand related to the Arkana model. The E-Tech (HEV) versions are the most requested with 59% of the mix. To consolidate its position on the large and growing C-SUV market, Renault has opened pre-orders for the new Austral, which is scheduled to launch in Europe in the second half of 2022.
World sales reached 716,720 units (-16.5% compared to the first half of 2021) and a market share of 4.0% (-0.5 points). In Europe, Renault recorded a market share of 6.4% (-0.6 points compared to the first half of 2021) with 414,515 units. In particular, the retail market share improved by 6.7% (+0.8 points compared to the first half of 2021), with a growth of 5% in terms of volumes in a market segment that fell by 8%.
