One of the most complicated and fascinating titles of recent times arrives in cinemas: it is «DAU. Natasha », an almost experimental Russian film, directed by Ilya Khrzhanovsky and Jekaterina Oertel.

Khrzhanovsky has been working on this monumental project, which also affects other disciplines (from art to anthropology) for about fifteen years: at the center of the film to be released this week in our cinemas is a woman, Natasha, employed at the canteen of a mysterious Soviet research institute. He drinks a lot, loves to talk about love and embarks on a passionate relationship: the secret services, however, suddenly intervene and the woman will fall into a real nightmare with open eyes.

It is a feature film that is anything but simple to follow and see, which mixes reality and fiction without any obvious boundaries, making it rather difficult also for its radical staging and for a duration that does not help too much involvement (about 145 minutes) .
