School, Minister Bianchi’s appeal: “Let’s all get vaccinated to get back to normal”

by admin

ROME. «Getting vaccinated means taking care of ourselves and others. The vaccine is the key that science has given us to return to our normalcy. You have to have confidence. It is a simple yet very powerful gesture. Let’s all get vaccinated ». Thus the Minister of Education, Patrizio Bianchi, launches the appeal for the #ioMIvaccino school.

On his social channels, Bianchi exhorts with a video message: «Here at the ministry we are working to prepare the return to safety in September. It is a complex work – he explains – that sees us engaged as a government together with the territories, with local institutions, with trade union organizations, with individual schools, with families. It is a team effort that calls everyone to their share of responsibility. Each and everyone can do something, can make their own contribution. This is getting vaccinated – he insists – and it is the way to make ourselves and others safe, an act of collective responsibility, an act of solidarity ».

Meanwhile, while the meeting with the trade unions is underway for the mandatory vaccine for school employees, the secretary of the League, Matteo Salvini, this morning in Umbria, on the sidelines of his presence in support of the referendum on justice, expressed the his opposition to the green pass to access school: “Let’s not joke, rather we must continue to vaccinate the elderly and frail people”. And then: “The vaccine saves lives and this is out of the question, but I say no in forcing 12-13 year old children to be vaccinated”.
