MILANO – Stellantis creates an agency dedicated to style and the creation of new lines linked to all the brands of the new group born in January, not just the companies in the auto sector. The agency is called Stellantis Design Studio and will offer its services to all types of companies, from those operating in the field of mobility to those active in other industrial sectors, from manufacturing to the tertiary sector. The “Studio” will pool the experiences of FCA and PSA, relying in particular on the skills gained in nine years by the Peugeot Design Lab to apply them within the brands, from Maserati to Jeep, from DS Automobiles to Lancia. “It will be able to connect its customer network with its iconic brands, designing and identifying inter-company partnerships,” the group emphasizes. A new development based on 120 collaborations with prestigious customers and partners such as Airbus Helicopter, Alstom, Bombardier, Bénéteau Groupe, Zodiac, Haier Group, the FIA, Whirlpool, Gillardeau Oysters and Pleyel carried out by the Peugeot Design Lab in nine years of activities. The Lab will continue its development within the “Studio”.

At the head of the new agency the tandem formed by Klaus Busse, who comes from the world of FCA, and Arnault Gournac, director of Peugeot Lab and Cycles Peugeot. Busse leads the design activities of Maserati, Jeep Europe and Stellantis Design Studio as head of design. He will take care of the strategic development of the Firm. He will make available his experience with luxury brands, to expand the field of action of Stellantis Design. “The success and expertise of Peugeot Design Lab are unrivaled. Applying this know-how to all of our brands opens the way to unparalleled prospects, ”says Busse. With his experience as a manager and guide to change in the design department of Decathlon, Orange Labs and the Carrefour Group, Gournac will oversee the evolution and international development of Stellantis Design Studio as Creative Director. “Looking across our brands as a whole, Stellantis designers have created some of the most exciting and visually appealing vehicles in motoring history. We want to tap into this creative energy and offer our expertise to our external partners around the world to help them take their brands and design projects to the next level, ”explains Gournac. And he adds: “We will work to broaden our field of action, promoting new partnerships with customers operating in various sectors all over the world“.
