Intesa Sanpaolo confirms its support for opera music. After joining the Board of Directors of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Compagnia di San Paolo appointed Michele Coppola, executive director of Art, Culture and Historical Heritage at Intesa Sanpaolo, as well as director of the Gallerie d’Italia for the Teatro Regio in Turin.
The appointment could be the first step for an entry of Intesa Sanpaolo among the founding members of the Teatro Regio foundation, which has recently left the commissioner after the reorganization led by Rosanna Purchia, councilor for Culture of the new municipal council led by the mayor Stefano Lo Russo, who of the foundation is the president.
With Coppola, Giampiero Leo, indicated by the CRT Foundation, and Beppe Navello for the Ministry of Cultural Heritage will sit on the Foundation’s Steering Committee. Iren should have confirmed Giuseppe Bergesio, CEO of Iren Energia, while the indication from the Municipality of Turin is expected this week. In the running are the former president of the Reggia di Venaria, Paola Zini, and the entrepreneur active in the venture capital Francesca Ramondo.
