ROME – The innovative technology of the Telepass group sets the standard. The Italian company at the forefront of electronic toll services and leader in integrated mobility, after the recent expansion on key European markets, was the subject of a case study by the Harvard Business School, under the guidance of Professor Chiara Farronato. The analysis of the prestigious British institute is entitled “Telepass: From Tolling to Mobility Platform” and was presented by the faculty of Business administration, in the “Technology and Operations Management” department which examines the challenges of modern companies in the management and implementation of operating systems.

The case study focuses on the transformation process that has led Telepass from a “simple” leader in electronic toll services to an integrated mobility ecosystem, thanks to the development of data-driven technological services and through a single app, thus able to satisfy needs of modern mobility.

“We are proud to have been selected as an object of study by the prestigious Harvard Business School – underlined Gabriele Benedetto, CEO of Telepass – because it means that the business model of Telepass, the first Italian fintech, and the transition underway from a leading company of electronic toll collection to smart and intuitive mobility ecosystem, has been taken into consideration as an Italian business example of innovation “.
