Today, Saturday 26 February, at Cascina del Tale of Via Bonzanigo 46 in Asti will return the Book Bag organized by the Fraternity Military in Dismissal. This is an extraordinary opening, taking up an initiative that had had a great following in the past and that had had to give way with the onset of the pandemic: the last edition was held in 2019. The initiative takes place from 10 to 13 and from 16 to 19, to access the Book Exchange it is necessary to comply with all the regulations of the current anti Covid legislation (green pass and mask).
Waiting for reading enthusiasts, there will be hundreds of books of all kinds: Italian and foreign novels, thrillers, detective stories, history, and in particular on that of Asti, politics, religion, humor, children’s books, free time, food and wine, tourism and art. Each book can be purchased with a minimum offer starting from 1 or 2 euros unless otherwise indicated.
La Cascina del Racconto is an association active since 2004, founded by Mimma Bogetti, Elena Pellegrino and Roberto Giacomelli, which found its headquarters in a wing renovated at the beginning of the 2000s in the building of the retired Military Brotherhood. Over the years the hall has hosted meetings dedicated to local history and culture, with testimonies and conferences, book presentations, exhibitions and musical moments and theatrical performances were presented (the courtyard has also hosted the events of the AstiTeatro festival in many editions) .
