On June 3, the premiere of the first 4K large-scale music and dance epic film “Struggle Chinese Sons and Daughters” was held in Beijing.
The film is the movie version of the stage performance “Struggle Chinese Sons and Daughters”. As the first 4K large-scale music and dance epic film in China, “Struggle Chinese Sons and Daughters” is another outstanding music and dance epic film rehearsed in my country’s literary and artistic circles after “Dongfanghong”, “Song of Chinese Revolution”, and “Road to Rejuvenation” .
At the premiere, chief director Hou Keming, producer Zhu Qinxiao, composer Shu Nan, chief photographer Luo Ling, visual effects director Liu Xiaoqing and other key creative staff shared their experience of creating the film. According to director Hou Keming, the film “Struggle, Chinese Sons and Daughters” has nearly a hundred domestic first-line artists and thousands of actors participating in the performance, and hundreds of film workers jointly created it. Film shooting uses 8 8K digital cameras, and extensive use of motion, rocker, Stenicon stabilizer, ultra-wide-angle lens and other film shooting methods. In order to enrich the screen effects, a large number of historical image materials collected by the Central New Film Group have been added in the post-production. The use of these historical materials has expanded the stage performance space, making the performance narrative clues clearer and more complete, and the storyline richer and more artistic. The effect is more touching.
Director Hou Keming also revealed that there are many classic songs from different eras in the movie “Struggle, Chinese Sons and Daughters”. The melodies of these songs are impressive, the singing has a sense of the times, and the music orchestration is very rich, which is very in line with the contemporary aesthetics of audition.
It is reported that the movie “Struggle, Chinese Sons and Daughters” will be screened in theaters nationwide on June 7.
