The Government made official the suspension of the Enhance Work for more than 22 thousand people who traveled abroad

The Government made official the suspension for 3 months of the payment of the Empower Work program to 22,501 people, as published this Friday in the Official Gazette.

The Ministry of Human Capital resolved it after registering trips abroad “that are not consistent with the state of high social and economic vulnerability” necessary to be a beneficiary of the program.

The three points that were taken for the suspension of the plan (whose amount is half of the minimum wage) are: that a person has made a trip of more than 30 days to any destination; that the trip was by plane or cruise; and that the destination of the trip was outside Latin America.
