Closer and closer ties with the territory, active involvement of young people and associations in trade union activity, prevention and a culture of safety at work and overcoming precariousness as a priority objective: these are the objectives that the outgoing secretary of the Eastern Piedmont CISL, Elena Ugazio , proposed this morning in Novarello at the third congress that brings together trade union representatives from the provinces of Novara, Vco, Biella and Vercelli.
«After the period of the pandemic we go back to organizing the congress in the presence; it is an important appointment because we have finished the “running-in” period of the union unification of the four territories, and now the deep-rooted action must continue ». Greetings were also brought to the congress by the provincial secretaries of CGIL, Fasulo, and Uil, Roberto Vittorio. Tomorrow the congress continues with the report of the regional secretary Alessio Ferraris, at 11, which will be followed by the elections for the renewal of the secretariat and executive.
