Well-known British fashion designer Sir Paul Smith converted a classic 1998 Mini into the MINI Paul Smith Edition.

The customized car is part of the MINI Recharged project, which celebrates the fusion of tradition with pioneering technology, using an electric motor as in the original model.

Thus a “great classic” has been transformed into a 100% zero-emission car for driving in line with the Mini philosophy which makes sustainability one of its strengths.

Our exclusive interview with Paul Smith who told us the peculiarities of this timeless “on off”.

Art, technologies and the world on four and two wheels, on the other hand, animate the House of BMW until 12 June, a place of dialogue between different artistic forms, technology and people.

The designer and artist Mike Meiré (who was entrusted with the project) has in fact created a program of installations, performances, workshops and debates with a focus on the connections between different disciplines, digitization and circularity.
