Xi’an News Network News directed by Liu Jiangjiang and starring Zhu Yilong and others, the movie “Life Events” will be released nationwide on June 24.

The film tells the story of Mo Sanmei, played by Zhu Yilong, who “inherits the father’s business” after being released from prison and runs a small “Go to Heaven” funeral shop. During a funeral, he met Wu Xiaowen (played by Yang Enzai), an orphan who was staying at his uncle’s house. Mo Sanmei rescued Xiaowen who was almost “creeped”, but he didn’t expect the latter to entangle him. Mo Sanmei, who was always in trouble, brought a series of life problems. After a lot of teasing and laughter, the “father and daughter” who were in the funeral industry actually collided with a wonderful friendship.

It is reported that this is the first feature film of director Liu Jiangjiang, who has been filming the column drama “Something About the Village” for TV stations for many years. In 2018, he specially went to Baiyangdian and other places to collect wind. In 2019, he wrote the script “Going to Heaven”, which was shortlisted for the “Pingyao Venture Capital” unit of the 3rd Pingyao International Film Festival and received a lot of praise. “Fuck off! Han Yan, the director of Tumor Jun, was very interested in this story and then served as the film’s executive producer. After several revisions, the script of “Going to Heaven” was renamed “Life Events”.

Mo Sanmei, played by Zhu Yilong, speaks fluent Wuhan dialect, has a round head, wears a flowered shirt, and steps on slippers. She looks like a condescending ruffian. But deep down, he is a soft and sensitive person.

The film was shot in Wuhan. Liu Jiangjiang said that he always wanted to choose a place that could match the theme of the film and reflect the smell of fireworks in the world. “People living in Wuhan live very free and easy, with that kind of feeling in the world.”
