In the play, the majestic Yellow River tracker, the devastating storytelling in northern Shaanxi, and the overwhelming novel text at the end will all be presented on a poetic stage. “I will always remember a conversation with my literary tutor Liu Qing. He told me,’From the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor to Yan’an, to Li Zicheng’s hometown and the tomb of Genghis Khan, such a great piece of land is not as heavy as those written by the people of northern Shaanxi. The work is beyond justification.'” said Lu Yao in the play.
